2015 Market Study

Open Doors Organization (ODO) is proud to release its third nationwide study of the American disability travel market, this time in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disablities Act. ODO commissioned Mandala Research, LLC to carry out this follow-up study of the travel patterns of American adults with disabilities. To ensure comparability with the 2002 and 2005 surveys, the online poll was once again conducted by Harris Interactive, now known as Harris, A Nielsen Company. Except for being carried out entirely online, the 2015 ODO Market Study uses the same methodology and revisits most of the same topics as the earlier surveys.

New for 2015 is expanded data on Cruise Travel as well as a first-ever look at the use of Mobile Devices by travelers with disabilities. Another first is findings on the use and likelihood of use of Ride Share services.

The 2015 ODO Market Study is presented in the form of a 53-slide Microsoft Office PowerPoint presentation. Following is a summary of the contents.
