Open Doors Organization is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2000 that gives businesses and communities the information and tools they need to succeed in the disability market. Through research, management and employee training, marketing strategies, and guidance in ADA compliance the Open Doors Organization educates businesses on how to provide people with disabilities the same consumer opportunities as non disabled people.

Listed below are some of the current partnerships between various businesses and the Open Doors Organization.  We have long prided ourselves on making great strategic partnerships and reaching out to both the public and private industry.

ODO has training and marketing programs that are available to everyone!

We use a four step training for disability awareness and we have years of experience in marketing to the various disability groups and market segments.

By working with other professionals in the industry we offer a wide range of answers to difficult questions.

ODO is currently working on a project with a major US cruise company and we look forward to sharing this information with you as soon as fit. We are excited about working in this industry and we believe cruising is a great way for people with disabilities and their families to vacation.

ODO’s first AIRLINE SYMPOSIUM brought together 33 airline representatives from around the U.S. to Chicago to discuss two important issues to travelers with disabilities -- safe stowage of scooters and wheelchairs, and maintaining high standards among contract workers who assist passengers with disabilities get to the gate and board the aircraft. Thirteen airlines participated in the 2-day event co-sponsored by the Air Transport Association. ODO staff shared the results and solutions from four years of research on these issues, as airline representatives contributed best practices to the group. A future symposium will concentrate on consumer education.
